Spice Up That Back Yard for Greater Home Value

One great way to give your house some more curb appeal without adding more to your home's maintenance cost is to add some features to your back yard. You've already got a patio, but other than that, it seems like for the most part, your back yard is pretty bland. Dropping in a few great features here and there can not only make it seem more friendly, but can increase the value of the house in the buyer's eyes.

Need some ideas? Take a look at this nice article from HGTV:

"Where in Greenville?"

Greenville, South Carolina and the surrounding upstate area is growing rapidly thanks to the influx of small business and incentivized startups. Local movements such as a push for more organic and locally-grown and raised food sources have attracted the notice of many of the more health-conscious, and things like the Greenville Saturday Market have created opportunities for the local economy to thrive. Many exciting things are happening around the Upstate, and with all the hubbub it is easy to forget some of the the unique, beautiful, and historic sites in Greenville. It is not just all the excitement that draws everyone in, Greenville, SC is at its heart a great place to live.

Because I like to reflect on many local sights, to find things that are unique, and to foster interest in local happenings, I started offering incentives to observant individuals both to help me increase my knowledge about the Upstate, and to encourage others to be digging into its richness as well. Hence, my #whereingreenville campaign. Later on this week, I'll be posting photos to most of my social media sites offering a $30 gift card to Greenville's Olive Tree Restaurant to the first person to guess where they might be from. I've been doing so every two weeks for the past month. This helps me to keep my eyes peeled, and gives you a good reason to just take a walk or drive to see if you can find something a little different as well. So keep learning with me and check on the #whereingreenville hashtag on facebook, twitter and Google+.

If Greenville's exciting enough for you that you are thinking about moving into the Upstate, or you are just curious, take a gander at my website. http://yourhomesingreenvillesc.com
